Moscatel de Setubal
Sweet and nutty Amber magic. The ultimate indulgence. Try it with Caramel desserts.
Producer
Production
A piece of history in Portugal. 7th generation family run. First wine bottled in 1850 and the oldest producer of Moscatel de Setubal bottled in 1880 - still in their cellar.
To create this delicious dessert wine, fermentation was halted by the addition of brandy. The grape juice has skin contact for 3 months and aged in old oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
An attractive amber colour. The nose is inviting with orange peel and stone fruits. The palate is nutty magic with hazelnut, dried fruits, confit citrus peel and sweet spice.
