The Casalforte wines are the jewel in the crown of Cantine Riondo, a producer that has fervently driven quality and sustainability on a considerable scale in the historic Valpolicella area.
Late harvesting to maximise sugar content is followed by "Ganimede" system vinification, where the grape skins and wine are continuously mixed in order to extract colour & tannins. Then part aged in stainless steel and oak for 12 months.
A full bodied wine with a deep ruby red colour. Block cherries and ripe blackberry with hints of vanilla and sweet spices.
