Bodegas Ollauri-Conde de los Andes sits in the heart of Rioja Alta and boasts the most stunning (15th century) cellars you're ever likely to see. The wines though are bold and modern, and nicely complimented by a plethora of older vintage gems they have to hand.
The grapes are picked at full ripeness and the fermentation process was stopped early in order to keep part of the natural sugar of the grapes. Finally the wine is aged in barrel for 1 year and in bottle for 10 years!
Tasting Notes
Complex and balanced, with notes of citrus, fennel, toast bread, almonds and sweet bakery.
