One of the best light-bodied red wines in Spain today. "By the Olive Trees"
Raul Perez is an absolute phenomenon in Spanish winemaking. Having left his mark across the country as a consultant, he is very much at home in Ribeira Sacra with the Mencia grape. Finca Millara is a biodynamic farm, situated on terraced vineyards that drop into the Minho river below. A stunning part of "green" Spain.
Hand harvested for freshness. Some of the picking is actually carried out from a boat on the river below! Partial full bunch fermentation followed by a short 3-month stay in old French oak.
