Production
Leading cooperative in Aragon, Borsao is situated in Campo de Borja, south of Rioja and west of Priorat. They have a fantastic reputation of producing exceptional wines at a price point. The grapes are picked from vineyards around 30 years old. They then undergo maceration for 3-4 days before fermentation in steel tanks, in order to retain freshness and a vibrant fruit forward character.
Tasting Notes
Vibrant and fruit forward with notes of raspberry, strawberry and dried flowers. This is a remarkably serious wine that has noticeable structure and tannin and pairs well with a variety of meats and cheeses.
