If the wine world was a school, Can Virgili would be the playground. Family tradition of making quality organic wines meets the Virgili twin brother’s unorthodox creative minds. Democratic Wines is their personal project showcasing the fruits of their irreverent winemaking. "El Cabronet" a play on the slang term of 'El Cabron' and Cabernet Sauvignon, the label design embraces the brother’s rascal nature and is full of Catalan insults.
Organic Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Penedes goes through semi malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and semi barrel fermented in 300l French oak up to 34 months for a versatile and friendly style of wine
Tasting Notes
Intense red cherry in colour, raspberries and vanilla on the nose. Juicy, fresh and silky on the palate with smooth tannins and a liquorice finish.
