Production
Duca di Salaparuta are fast approaching their 200th anniversary and have been pioneers and champions of Sicilian wine for just as long. They have an extensive portfolio, of which we believe their Irmana wines to be the best for quality, authenticity, and value.
Hand-picked grapes in the second half of September grown 200m above sea level from the mainly calcerous hills in central and southern Sicily. Stainless steel fermented and matured for 2 months before bottling.
Tasting Notes
Light bodied, reminiscent of a young pinot noir. Summer berry fruit aromas with a hint of Sicilian spice and smooth tannins. Served slightly chilled for an authentic experience.
