Producer
Production
Family producer, Ruiz de Vinaspre, make all their wines from their own vineyards in Rioja Alavesa. This is a Moreno exclusive that we have worked jointly with the winery on.
Hand harvested from vines over 40 years old. Whole wine aged in a mix of new and old 80% French oak and 20% American oak for 3 years (well beyond what is necessary). The wine also sees extended bottle ageing, only being released when ready to drink.
Tasting Notes
Classy Rioja Reserva. Forrest fruits married with cocoa, vanilla and hints of black pepper spice.
