Production
Located in the town of Elciego in the heart of the Alavesa subregion, Bodegas Muriel has a winemaking tradition harking all the way back to 1926.
Selected from grapes from the calcareous and clay soils of Rioja Alavesa & Rioja Alta subregions, this wine is stainless steel fermented followed by 24 months maturity in French & American Oak barriques and then aged for 2 years before release
Tasting Notes
Complex and intense aroma of ripe fruits and the fine scents of ageing: vanilla, spices and herbs. Finely balanced wine with a polished and elegant body and long finish.
