Production
Right on the Slovenian border in North East Italy, 3 brothers (Carlo, Tommaso and Michele) run the Perusini winery making some of the most elegant, subtle and certainly gastronomic wines you're likely to find.
This wine is made with 3 or 4 harvests, each vinified seperately in different tanks to obtain greater complexity. There is no malo, but the wine sees 6 months ageing on fine lees.
Tasting Notes
Classic Sauvignon character of aromatic elderflower & gooseberry, leading to honeysuckle and grapefruit. This wine has a typically Perusini elegant and mineral finish.
