Sabina Tinto Tempranillo
Navarra, Spain
Tempranillo
Juicy, structured and quaffable. A cracking entry level winner.
Producer
Production
Navarran wines are criminally underrated and PdV are the leaders of Navarran wine production in the UK. The name Sabina is taken from the indigenous Spanish juniper tree grown locally in Navarra, recognisable for its horizontal growing, almost 'storm-battered' look.
Tempranillo grapes, with a dash of Cabernet Sauvignon, are grown on the terraces of the Ebro and Aragon rivers. Fermented in stainless steel with a touch of oak influence adding complexity.
Tasting Notes
Beautifully rich and dark in colour, it has a lush, black fruit core with satisfying earthy structure.
Ecological Credentials
