Production
The founders of Compañía de Viñedos Iberian are the Osborne family whose relationship with wine has its beginnings in the 18th century, in a unique setting of El Puerto de Santa María, located in Cádiz aka Sherry country. Compañía de Viñedos Iberian has been based in Rueda since 2000 where they have been producing this wine.
The vineyards are situated near the douro river on alluvial and stony terraces. In the winery the grapes undergo a cold maceration, cool fermentation and three months of lees stirring to provide, complexity and mouthfeel.
Tasting Notes
Intensely tropical aromas are complimented by a mouthwatering acidity and creamy texture in the mouth, give the wine poise and the consumer a reason to go back for more.
