Production
Carlo and Daniele are the latest generation of the Cantalici family to run their estate in Castagnoli in the heart of Tuscany. Perhaps one of the most stunning wineries you'll see, built in a 16th century old kiln building.
Very carefully hand selected grapes are hung on racks in airy rooms until January. The grapes go through another selection process, after which they are pressed and left to ferment in small oak barrels called "caratelli" stored in the loft over a period of years.
Tasting Notes
An intense golden colour, the rich flavour of acacia, honey, dried figs and apricots, toasted almonds and vanilla are balanced with a clean citrus finish.
