Production
Azpillaga Urarte is a family run winery in Lanciago practising biodynamically and operating out of a corrugated tin shed winery. Rustic brilliance. They champion 'regenerative viticulture' which is essentially the restoration of their vineyards using homemade natural treatments.
Whole bunch pressed, with a short time on skins. Pressed and then left to ferment naturally in stainless steel and concrete. Often this can be a painfully slow process.
Tasting Notes
Dominated by white fruit aromas, with good volume on the palate, and an acidity and saltiness that makes it irresistable. It can't be gone with out saying that there is a distinct rustic character that will make those natural wine lovers go wild.
Ecological Credentials
Vegetarian, Vegan, Biodynamic
