Production
Azpillaga Urarte is a family run winery in Lanciago practising biodynamically and operating out of a corrugated tin shed winery. Rustic brilliance. They champion 'regenerative viticulture' which is essentially the restoration of their vineyards using homemade natural treatments.
Biodynamic and restorative viticulture on clay-calcareous soils, Carbonic Maceration for 10-12 days.
Tasting Notes
Proper salt of the earth Rioja, ripe red and black fruits with a floral lift on the nose, full bodied with juicy sweet tannins. Great balance with a perfect hint of natural winemaking
