Pago de Tharsys

Founded in 1808 in Requena, 70 km from Valencia, Pago de Tharsys is built directly into the region’s limestone bedrock, its original underground cellar still in use today. Surrounded by 14 ha of certified ecological vineyards at 800 m altitude, the estate blends centuries-old tradition with forward-looking precision. Winemaker Vicente García — known as the “Godfather of Valencian Cava” — champions local varieties like Bobal and Macabeo, crafting expressive, vibrant wines rooted in their Mediterranean landscape.
