Bourgogne Blanc Gran Reserve 2025
Bourgogne, France
Chardonnay (100%) · 2025 · 13.5% abv
A Burgundian nod to Meursault: ripe apple, toasted almond, and a whisper of vanilla glide over citrus and honey. Creamy yet taut, with a long finish that lingers on spice and stone.
Production
Aged 12 months in traditional oak barrels. Wild yeast ferment, unfiltered bottling, and biodynamic farming give density without heaviness. Subtle oak spice frames fruit rather than dominates.
Vineyard
Sourced from Bourgogne Chardonnay parcels on clay-limestone soils. Moderate altitudes and diurnal variation ensure ripeness without sacrificing acidity, giving raw material suited to barrel ageing.
Pairing
Ideal with lobster thermidor, roast guinea fowl, or mushroom vol-au-vent. Also excellent with washed-rind cheeses like Epoisses.
