The blend (85 % Sangiovese, 10 % Merlot, 5 % Cabernet Sauvignon) ferments traditionally, then ages 12 months — 70 % in French oak (half new) and 30 % in stainless steel — to build structure and complexity.

Vineyard

Vines grow on classic Chianti Classico galestro and alberese soils, offering excellent drainage and minerality. Warm days and cool nights encourage slow, even ripening, preserving freshness and aromatic intensity.

Pairing

A classic match for bistecca alla fiorentina, wild boar ragù, or aged pecorino. Also excellent with roasted lamb and rosemary potatoes.
