Textbook Ripasso with vibrant red cherry, blackcurrant and sweet spice aromas, lifted by notes of cocoa and dried herbs. Supple and full-bodied, the palate combines ripe fruit and savoury depth, finishing with a gentle warmth and fine-grained tannins.

Production

Valpolicella wine is “re-passed” over the skins from Amarone production, enhancing alcohol, body and complexity. Maturation follows in stainless steel and oak, integrating fruit and structure.

Vinyard

Grapes are harvested from select hillside vineyards in Valpolicella, where well-drained calcareous soils and significant diurnal shifts intensify aromatic expression.

Pairing

A natural partner for slow-cooked lamb shoulder, beef short ribs or mushroom risotto. Try with mature Asiago or a roast duck with cherry jus.
