Production
Hand-harvested Viura is fermented in new fine-grained French oak barrels, where three months of fermentation and lees contact build depth and creamy texture. The wine then spends a further six months ageing in the same barrels, integrating oak spice and weight. The result is a structured, gastronomic white with the capacity to age gracefully.
Vineyard
From a single 30-year-old vineyard in Rioja Alta, where calcareous clay soils and a cool Atlantic influence produce Viura with both intensity and freshness. Low yields and old vines concentrate flavour, while careful canopy management preserves aromatic purity — the foundation for a white that combines richness with precision.
Pairing
A versatile food wine that excels with seafood paella, shellfish risotto or grilled monkfish. Its richness also complements creamy soft cheeses and dishes with buttery sauces, while its freshness keeps pace with sushi and delicately spiced fish.
