El Bandarra Tinto (Red/Rojo) is a smooth, sweet Spanish vermouth made from Macabeo and Xarel·lo grapes macerated with over 50 herbs, spices, and botanicals. It features rich aromas of liquorice and citrus, a balanced bittersweet palate, and a lingering, pleasant finish.
Production
Produced in Catalunya and made with Macabeo and Xarel·lo grapes, the vermouth uses over 50 extracts of herbs, flowers and spices such as cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, liquorice, aniseed, chamomile, rosemary, bay leaf, hops, bitter orange – to name a few! After maceration, it gets a little rest in oak barrels.
Vinyard
Produced by the Virgili brothers at the historic Casa Berger winery, located in the Penedès region just outside Barcelona, Spain. Its terroir is rooted in the sun-drenched, Mediterranean vineyards of Alt Penedès, utilizing classic local white grapes (Macabeo and Xarel·lo) as its foundational base wine.
