Vibrant and expressive, Jaros delivers ripe plum, blackberry and black cherry lifted by vanilla and sweet spice. Smooth, fine-grained tannins frame a generous palate, while subtle oak adds depth without overshadowing the fruit.

Production

Fermented from hand-picked fruit, then aged for 17 months in 300 L French oak — a mix of new and second-use barrels previously used for Chafandín and Sed de Cana — to build texture and integrate tannins.

Vineyard

Made exclusively from estate-grown Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) around Viñas del Jaro in Ribera del Duero. The continental climate, limestone soils and significant day–night temperature shifts combine to give intensity and freshness.

Pairing

Versatile at the table: try with Iberico pork chops, roast duck with spiced cherries or mushroom and truffle pasta. Also excellent with semi-cured sheep’s cheeses.
