Production
L’Hòstia Ratafia follows the traditional Catalan method: green walnuts are macerated in brandy alongside more than 20 botanicals — including rosemary, orange peel, cinnamon, sage, anise, and fennel. The blend macerates for four months before ageing and sweetening with sugar. With a higher alcohol content than classic ratafia, it delivers a bolder, more intense expression true to the Virgili brothers’ irreverent style.

L’Hòstia Ratafia is rooted in Catalonia’s long tradition of herbal liqueurs, where green walnuts and local botanicals have been macerated in brandy for generations. The Virgili brothers draw on this heritage with a contemporary twist, blending more than 20 Mediterranean botanicals to capture the region’s wild aromatics and bold character. A modern Catalan expression built on historic flavours.
