Copper-tinged and fragrant with strawberry, peach skin and a lick of spice. Textural yet refreshing, with gentle grip from skin contact and a dry, savoury close. Pinot Grigio showing its serious side—Ramato style, Friulian through and through.

Production

Grapes are fermented on skins for several days to develop colour and aromatic depth. Stainless steel fermentation preserves freshness. A short time on lees adds texture and savoury nuance.

Vinyard

From estate vines in the Colli Orientali, grown on Ponca—Friuli’s famed eocenic marl and sandstone. Old terraces, worked by hand, deliver naturally low yields and poise. The cool foothills climate builds freshness; the soils bring backbone.

Pairing

Perfect with cured meats, salmon tartare or grilled vegetables. Its savoury edge makes it a versatile match for antipasti.
