Saison de la Vigne Rouge 2023

France, France

Grenache, Syrah · 2023 · 13% abv

Soft, juicy and effortlessly drinkable, this southern Rhône red is bursting with redcurrant, raspberry and dried fruit notes. Medium-bodied and rounded, it offers gentle tannins, a subtle spice character and a smooth, fruit-driven finish that makes it an easy companion to almost any meal.
Production

Traditional winemaking techniques are employed to preserve fruit purity and approachability. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at moderate temperatures, with gentle extraction to soften tannins and build texture. The focus is on freshness and drinkability rather than heavy oak or long ageing.

Vinyard

Grapes are sourced from traditional vineyards in the Vaucluse, where warm Mediterranean days ensure ripe, generous fruit while cooler nights help preserve freshness. Classic Rhône clay-limestone soils lend structure and balance, while low yields deliver concentration and flavour depth.

Pairing

A perfect match for grilled meats, rustic casseroles or roast chicken. It’s also delicious with pizza, charcuterie or hearty vegetarian dishes like aubergine parmigiana — a classic, go-to red for casual dining.
