Torelló Brut Reserva 2022

Xarello (57%), Macabeo (23%), Parellada (20%) · 2022 · 12% abv
Classic and classy. Xarel·lo leads with citrus, fennel and structure; Macabeo brings orchard fruit, Parellada the lift. Fine, persistent mousse; flavours of lemon peel, apple and pastry crumb, finishing dry, saline and neatly moreish. Smart enough for white tablecloths, friendly enough for by-the-glass.
Production
Hand-harvested grapes pressed as whole clusters. Base wines fermented in stainless steel, then blended and bottled for second fermentation. Aged on lees for over 24 months before disgorgement, building complexity and finesse.
Vinyard
Estate fruit from Can Martí, where Mediterranean days and cool nights ripen grapes without losing their bite. Organic farming, hand harvest and limestone-clay soils deliver purity, tension and that unmistakable Penedès poise. Torelló are founding members of Corpinnat—terroir and time over shortcuts.
Pairing
Brilliant with seafood, jamón, or light tapas. Also elegant enough to start (or end) an evening on its own.
